Our design team are able to attend regular site meetings for projects, so that we can both oversee progress on the delivery of our design, and to agree any changes or deviations from the original plan. This is all captured in detail and issued in written format to all parties afterwards.
If working on a project for the D&B community, Novanta can work as part of the D&B/Fit-out company team or on behalf of them. This also ensures a visible presence on projects from Novanta if required.
Novanta's design team can create construction packs for all items being built on site, allowing the trades-people to have a clear understanding how the finished item should look. These will include various technical drawings and sometimes show a product in an exploded view, with itemised components.
COMPLETION DRAWINGS - 'AS BUILTS'
'As-built drawings' are a revised set of drawings submitted by a contractor upon completion of a project or a particular job. They reflect all changes made in the specifications and working drawings during the construction process, and show the exact dimensions, geometry and location of all elements of the work completed under the contract.
As-built drawings remain an essential process in a project, especially to maintain a project’s lifecycle after construction has ended.
